One of the most personal things to a girl is the contents of her bag, it can tell you a lot about their character and give you a small insight to their lives. I have decided to do my own ‘whats in my bag’ as I’m new to blogging and it seems to be a good introduction.
To start, this is my bag. It’s a Mulberry Bayswater in black natural leather with brass. I was lucky enough to receive this bag from my parents for my 21st birthday in July, and fell in love with it. I have been a fan of Mulberry for years and have collected a few pieces already but this is just a classic style that just seems timeless.
Amazon Kindle, Mulberry Continental Wallet, Aspinal of London Travel Card Case, Miu Miu Sunglasses
These are my travel essentials, as I have mentioned in my previous post, I work in London so I spend a lot of time on trains. The Kindle is great for this because it has a really good battery life and it’s still easy to operate even when squashed onto a packed train. I also have my continental purse to match my bag, this was a present from my boyfriend a few years ago, and I’m so glad I finally have the bag to match. The travel card was a little treat from myself for getting the job and finally the sunglasses are there for a touch of optimism and to hide tired morning eyes!
Paracetamol, Keys to work, Mints, Rescue Remedy, Chanel Powder, Hand gel, Revlon Lipstick, Tangle Teezer, Bon Bon Perfume, Bottle of water
And the last of it – also known as the bits and bobs. These are always the hardest to find in my bag whenever I need them! I guess thats the curse of having such a large bag, you just tend to overfill. So to start, I am always, always, always getting ill! (ask my boyfriend) so I like to make sure I have a packet of paracetamol on me just incase I start to feel a little rough, its a horrible feeling not being well on the train, so it is more a precaution.
I then have some form of mints, hand gel, lip stick and lip balm- my current favourite is my EOS, I got a few out in America recently because they are so much cheaper! I am also quite an anxious person, so I keep a little bottle of rescue remedy with me, just to naturally calm any jitters I may have.
Next are my staple products, Chanel face powder and Bon Bon perfume, again being on a train for an hour or so can get a little hot, so to freshen up a bit I always have a spritz of this and powder my nose and I am ready to go again.
And my final two are my trusty tangle teezer and bottle of water, these are pretty self explanatory, I have extremely long, thick hair that can be a nightmare to manage, and the tangle teezer is the first product I have used that I feel actually does the job well!
So what do you have in your bag? Are you an over packer like me?
