I am pretty sure the way to any girl’s heart is little packages wrapped up with a bow, and luckily for me, my nearest and dearest know this little fact of life, so I ended up with quite the collection for Christmas, so I thought I would do a little Jo Malone haul.
So if you have never heard of Jo Malone before, it is an iconic english fragrance brand that specialises in colognes, candles, bath oils and other bits and pieces! All of the presents I received were in the form of colognes, as I feel they are really long lasting, and although they are a little pricey you honestly pay for the quality – If I had a pound for every time someone asked me what I was wearing, I’d be a very rich gal! Then I’d probably just buy more 🙂
So to start off I got this cologne collection, it is a mini set that features 5 of the best loved Jo Malone fragrances: Blackberry & Bay, English Pear & Freesia, Nectarine Blossom & Honey, Pomegranate Noir and Lime Basil & Mandarin. It retails for £68 and is a great kit to get you introduced to the various collections, it also lets you master the art of layering your scents, which you can learn more about here.
I then got four of the larger scents for everyday use. I asked for the 100ml in the English Pear & Freesia because I always like to use this as my base scent and layer the other perfumes on top. For 100ml the majority of the colognes are £80, which is pretty reasonable considering the quality of the scent and how long it lasts for. Finally I got two Blackberry & Bay and one Peony & Blush Suede (£40 each). My favourite combination I have found so far is the Peony & Blush Suede with English Pear & Freesia.
I honestly think these make the most perfect gifts, and with Valentine’s Day fast approaching, it is never too soon to start dropping hints, or just treat yourself!
Has anybody else tried any of the Jo Malone scents? What’s your favourite fragrance or combination?

I got a little collection of Jo Malone for Christmas! You should try Wood Sage and Sea Salt- amazing! I got the Mini Set too for christmas, and some of the candles which are beautiful! But I must say Peony and Blush Suade is one of my favourites too. Such amazing products! xxx
Oooh I keep seeing people review the Wood Sage and Sea Salt! I can’t even imagine how it would smell, I’d have to get myself down to a Jo Malone store xxx
I would be in heaven!!! I’m s UK girl living in Sydney and its soooo hard to find Jo Malone here, especially at a decent price. My all time fav is red roses but i do love how you can mix the scents xxx
I’ve never smelt the Red Roses, it sounds very apt for Valentines Day though! I’ll have to get my boyfriend on the case 🙂 xxx
I love Lime Basil and Mandarin and also Wood Sage and Sea Salt, they also go well when you mix them together!
