I love getting flowers, Birthdays, Anniversaries and even just a treat to myself, I’ll always find an occasion as I just love having fresh cut flowers in my house. So imagine my joy when a huge box turns up at my door, filled to the brim with two dozen long stem white roses*. This is just standard procedure for the lovely people at OK Bouquet.
On the first inspection, the box they arrive in is just gigantic! Now whilst the Roses were pretty huge too the box is there to add an added layer of protection to your lovely flowers. As soon as you open the box you are hit with a beautiful floral smell that fills the room. I’m always concerned with ordering things online, as you don’t know if they will look the same or if they will indeed get to you in one piece – the term “delicate little flower” springs to mind – but all my worries vanished the moment i unwrapped the paper and saw 24 crisp premium white roses, all in tack and ready to be displayed.
A pet peeve of mine is when I get flowers, and they look so beautifully arranged and I go to put them in the jar and the arrangement is lost and they just never look as good. With flowers this size, the dread hit me again, and I thought that I’d never be able to replicate the show standard that was in the box. Fortunately for me, they were all tied together with a little elastic, meaning that I could snip them to size and transfer to my vase easily. They also include a handy little packet of plant food to give your botanicals a fighting chance, if like me, plants don’t do well in your company!
This is now my third day with the stunning Roses, and on top the compliments from every person who comes into my home, they are still going strong, the flowers are opening up and getting even bigger and there are no signs of wilting or browning.
