If you’re looking for a fun little spot that allows you to enjoy great food with friends, while playing chef as you people-watch the hustle and bustle of London, then I know just the place for you.
Nestled just off Leicester Square in all it’s Tiffany Blue glory, sits Steak & Co – A quality Steak House with a unique twist. With it’s four London locations, Steak & Co is a culinary experience like no other. Being a particularly fussy eater it brings me great joy that I could create my ideal dining experience, right down to the salt on my steak! Now it might sound a bit of a faff – but stay with me – it’s worth it.
You first start by choosing your cut of Steak, they have everything from Rump to Fillet, so there is sure to be something for everyone. You then get your choice of shakes, sauces & butter. I decided to go for the Rib eye with sea salt, red wine sauce, garlic butter & a side of mashed potatoes. And here’s the best part – You cook it yourself! Your server brings you out a hot stone and off you go, you cook until ready for you. Now this was my favourite part as I am partial to a medium-rare steak but the problem with that is it doesn’t stay warm for very long. But doing this allows you a fresh, hot bite with every mouthful.
I found the whole experience to be really reasonably priced, but they also offer a lunch & pre theatre menu for those of you on a budget and are kid-friendly so everyone can enjoy a meal out! So in conclusion, I would wholeheartedly recommend Steak & Co on your next jaunt to London.
Have you ever heard of Steak & Co before? I’d love to know what you thought of your experience.
