As I mentioned in my last post I had a little break to Disneyland Paris for a few days. I’m back and I thought I would have a little catch up about my trip away and what I thought about Disney in Christmas time.
I think there is no secret between my friends and family about how much I love Disneyland, for the past three years we have continued to go back and experience Disney throughout the seasons. This time we were lucky enough to go just as the Christmas period started so it was completely new to me. I’ll apologise in advance as it is probably going to be quite a photo heavy post of my best bits in Disneyland. So first things first, can you believe this picture was taken in November! We really lucked out with the weather, and had prepared for rain and wind, but it was just incredibly sunny and just a little chilly the whole time we was there, also because it isn’t a peak time for Disney the prices are great and it isn’t crazy busy (have you ever seen that castle so quiet!)
Next are the decorations! Matt is someone who never likes talking about Christmas too soon, and I am someone who talks about it straight after my birthday (July isn’t too soon right?) but as soon as we saw how Disney had set up the parks we were both so excited and thought that it couldn’t come sooner. They really don’t do anything by halves and everything was perfect, and I don’t think I would come back at another time now, and the Christmas songs are like a permanent soundtrack to my life right now!
Then whilst the parade was going on, the best thing ever happened! Disney made it snow!! Completely out of the blue and we really wasn’t expecting it, it was such a great touch. I don’t think it matters how old you were at the time, everyone had the same surprised expressions on their faces.
And finally, my most favourite part! Disney Christmas Dreams. This was amazing, and I really can’t explain just how good it was, so I thought I would just chuck in a video, and let you decide for yourself – oh and prepare to have this song stuck in your head all day long now! You’re welcome.
The one thing I will say about the whole experience that was a little disappointing is that all of the main rides in the parks were broken at one stage, we even got stuck on the newest Ratatouille ride, so that was a bit rubbish – luckily they dealt with it very well and got us all off quickly and safely and there is so much else to do in Disney that it wasn’t too much of a problem.
Have you ever been to Disney?
Courtney x
All of the main rides were broken? I would have been really upset at that! I have never seen someone dress so well at Disneyland, haha, I always stick to my UGG boots and jeans, but I love your coat, Courtney.
This post has made me so excited for January!! xxx
Yes! We couldn’t believe our luck. Ratatouille, Crushes, Big Thunder Mountain, Peter Pan & Space Mountain were all closed. It wasn’t very good of them, you expect much more of Disney. But it was still amazing. Oh thank you lovely, it’s only from Primark! £20 I believe. You’ll have so much fun! I love all the Christmas stuff there xxx
This is making me want to go back to Disneyland! The place looks amazing – they clearly know how to do Christmas 🙂
It was so much fun! I would so recommend going at Christmas 🙂 x
