I am pretty sure the way to any girl’s heart is little packages wrapped up with a bow, and luckily for me, my nearest and dearest know this little fact of life, so I ended up with quite the collection for Christmas, so I thought I would do a little Jo Malone haul.
I’m sure I have mentioned maybe once or twice my love for lush, so as soon as I walked past the Stratford store this week and spied the new Christmas collection I knew I had a few purchases to make. So I bought 7 things altogether, a mixture of ones I have tried before and some new ones to review. I also finally have a use for my cute little wire baskets from H&M! I like how they are easy to get to, and they just fill my room with that iconic lush smell.
Photo Heavy Post!
Well it’s accidentally been
a little quite a while since I have last posted, so sorry about that! But I have been trying to prepare for my mini break and just enjoying London in the Winter 🙂 And what better way to throw myself back in than with a post on Christmas! It’s only 54 days until my favourite time of year, so I thought I would do a top 5 stocking fillers, as there is always secret santa’s to buy for, and family members wondering what you want so I’m going to make that job so much easier.
Holidays are quite literally what I live for, I only have 20 days until my next little break, so I am sure you will all have to deal with another post about me being extremely sad again soon! But in the mean time, my lovely friend Jess has tagged me in her Holiday blogger tag, so go check out hers as she is always jetting off and is soon to make you jealous!
As I am writing this, I am tucked up in bed with a flat lemonade and a hot water bottle, desperate to not be sick again. For some reason it is always me, I have a really weak immune system that picks up sickness bugs and viruses like there is no tomorrow. This has resulted in the past 2 days me being sick off of work which I absolutely hate (I quite enjoy my job don’t you know!) At my last job – a popular clothing retailer – you was not allowed to be sick, you had to come in even if you spent the day with your head in the toilet (retail is hard) as you was just a number to them, so it is a weird feeling for me when everyone at my new place is only concerned with you getting better – they are a bit lovely 🙂
This past week has been extremely busy, so I may have fallen back on blogging. But what better opportunity than to share what I have actually been up to in a roundup! Just a prior warning, this post is probably going to be quite photo heavy!
So it is finally September, which means some of you are going to be making one of the biggest leaps in your life, and start University. I graduated this year with a 1st class BA Hons in Marketing with Advertising, so I know how you are all feeling now; a mixture of excitement and nervousness about how it is all going to go. So I have decided to try and do a weekly feature about how to survive university, and give you some useful tips that helped me obtain my first class degree.
