I’ve been meaning to write this post for, oh, I don’t know, 2 months now… Yeah bad planning on my part but I’ve finally got round to showing you what I bought when I went to Florida. I had specific sights set in my mind, I was heading to Bath and Body works for their Semi-Annual Sale, and despite what Matt says, I could and would squeeze 10 candles into my suitcase, and his negativity could be checked in at baggage!
A few weeks ago, Buckley London generously sent me some bits and pieces from their collection to try out. As a lover of jewellery, I happily obliged, and thought I would give you a little review about what I thought of them, seeing as it is so close to Mothers Day, or even get a special treat yourself. I’ll also add, I have bought some new camera equipment that I’m still getting use to, so if these pictures look a little strange, I’m just having a little learning curve, so stick with me 🙂
I’m sure I have mentioned maybe once or twice my love for lush, so as soon as I walked past the Stratford store this week and spied the new Christmas collection I knew I had a few purchases to make. So I bought 7 things altogether, a mixture of ones I have tried before and some new ones to review. I also finally have a use for my cute little wire baskets from H&M! I like how they are easy to get to, and they just fill my room with that iconic lush smell.
Photo Heavy Post!
Now, I don’t know the first thing about make up, I slap some foundation on at roughly 6am every weekday and pray it lasts me the dreaded commute into work enough that I look half presentable. But I do however get caught up in beauty trends, and it is something I am genuinely interested in, but it wasn’t until a recent trip to Westfield in Stratford that I discovered three things:
1. I wear the wrong colour foundation (I’m sure this is a pretty common problem)
2. I actually have combination skin rather than oily
3. You get what you pay for
