Transitioning from Valentines Day in my last post, I felt like I’ve neglected one of the most loved UK holidays that is Pancake Day *Tues 9th February*! But these aren’t your regular run of the mill pancakes, these are my posh pancakes (namely because I finally have a Kitchenaid, & you can bet your bottom dollar I’m going to use it at every opportunity!)
As I’ve mentioned in my previous cooking post, I’m big on saving time, but love having a home cooked meal that I can quickly prepare without much thought after I’ve finished work. Enter my quick and easy lamb korma, that you can practically do with your eyes closed… which is normally the case after a full working day.
Now I love getting dressed up and going out for a fancy meal as much as the next girl, but sometimes when you finish work you just want a no frills meal that’s not going to take hours to make – enter my go to, no fuss bacon cheeseburger that’s ready in under half an hour, perfect for those lazy days.
Well this week has been just like any other in terms of workload! But with the addition of my Macbook Air deciding to bloody break! 🙁 Luckily super Matt came to the rescue and we *think* he has fixed it. So my Monday date night post is coming slightly later than expected! But anyway, we decided that this week would would try something new and go to All Star Lanes in Stratford.
Matt and I have had a lot to celebrate lately, we both got new jobs, I graduated university with a first class honours, we have just started our search for our first home together, we welcomed our beautiful baby niece into the world and Matt even published his first book! So it’s been a very busy year already, and we needed a date night to just spend sometime together. We decided that we wanted to go to one of our favourites, Miller & Carter for our evening.
